Using Web 2.0 technology we can now create a fully-functional dynamic website in a fraction of the the time taken to create a traditional static website. We aim to pass this cost-saving on to the customer which results in a high quality product at a very modest price.

• A Complete Plone framework with your choice of color scheme based on Encryptec's template
  
• A logo based on artwork supplied by the client
  
• A full functional user and administration registration / authentication system
  
• Basic Plone types such as Pages, News Items, Events, Calendar, Collections, Links
  
• Advanced Plone types such as Polls, Images, Slide Shows, Surveys, Forms
  
• Advances Modules such as Ploneboard Forums and the Poi issue Tracker
  
• Six initial pages laid out within Plone with content supplied in electronic format by the client
  
• Some basic SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) work for the first six pages
• Telephone and Email support

Background analysis

Obviously the "look" of a site is important, but when looking at what you want from a website we often find the main design criteria to be;

• That lots of people find and hence visit the site
• Once one the site they find it easy to use and with features that make them want to use it and indeed return to the site at a later date

i.e. the "look" often doesn't actually feature that highly with regards to the site's ultimate goal. There is after all no point in having the world's prettyest website if nobody visits it (!)

SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)

One of the features of the Plone framework is that it does most of the things that search engines like "for you", and then provides you easy access to the remaining things that need to be done by hand. For example when entering an page onto the site, it will allow you to maintain the collection of "keywords" associated with that page.

Our standard template also interfaces with Google analytics and Google webmaster tools so you will get easy access to Google web site statistics for your site, and you will automatically have a dynamic sitemap submitted to Google's search engines for you on a regular basis.

As part of the package we will help you register with Google and gain access to the analytics package which will provide you with no-end of useful statistical information which can be used to monitor the use of your site, and to tune it such that search engines provide it with a better ranking.

Google Analytics

If you've not come across Google Analytics it has become the defacto-standard when it comes to website statistics and is the benchmark against which all other tools are measured.

Essentially once your site is registered with Google, they will supply you with a snippet of Javascript which can be added to your page template. (we do this for you) Then every time someone views a page on your site, that snippet reports details of the access to Google, and Google builds up a picture of how your site is being used. Things Google will track for you include;

• How many unique visitors you have
• How many times they visit your site
• How many pages they look at each time they visit
• How many people hit your site and immediately link elsewhere
• How long on average people spend on the site per visit
• Where people access your site from
• What sort of browsers people use to access your site
• Where your site draws it's traffic from (Search engines, referrals etc)
• What keywords are used when people search for your site

And indeed much more .. all of this information is available graphically via a web browser, or you can obtain the raw information as a CSV file, or it will make up a very presentable six page PDF report which you can use to promote your site.
